Gordon Herrald is the principal consultant at the partnership of Gordon Herrald Associates. His technical qualifications are matched with a good balance between commercial and contractual awareness, practical engineering knowledge, and an enthusiasm to get the right result. He has over 25 years of relevant experience. It was after many years' service with a market leader in security systems gaining wide and in-depth experience in all aspects of large security projects that he identified the market need for impartial security advice from technically competent consultants.

Primarily he has overseen the successful implementation and installation of many integrated systems into structures and establishments ranging from large bridges to central banks in the United Kingdom and overseas.

He is the originator of many published papers and featured on a TV documentary re. 11 September. Gordon is also a member of BSI panel FSH/12/1/1 Integrated Systems, BSI committee GW/1/8 Access Control and has been a council member (now board member)of the Association of Security Consultants since 1998.
